Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable
end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded
yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million
miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape
descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think
digital watches are a pretty neat idea. And I happen to live somewhere
here (77 deg long and 13 deg lat and 949 m alt to be approximate). I'm
doing my 6thsem engg. In AMCEC Bangalore, which happens to be the most
unfortunate thing right now.
I love
computers, basically any tech gadget and I just
drool over it, Linux is my current crush and half the times I'm trying
something new on it (most of which often leads to system crashes, but
hey! it's a lot of fun that way), I am also an amateur
astronomer
(that's just a high end name for a star gazer), a hardcore
Matrix fan
(basically the matrix philosophy, ooh! and Monica Bellucci of course),
a rock-metal addict (goes without saying Metallica is my favorite), I
even listen to some western classical and blues, My adrenaline pumps
as I game with my GeForce 4 Ti 4200, War planes and military info are
an all-time favorite, ardent devotee of "The hitchhiker's guide to the
galaxy", "Calvin and Hobbes" and "Dilbert". As you would have already
figured out I like graphic designing and working with flash among
other (classified) stuff. I also do a bit of
poetry as well I won't go on about my hate list (it'll
probably take up space that I've reserved for my friends).
I believe
these are the basic facts of life:
Life sucks and is totally unfair.
Trust is a weakness.
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
is just a freight train coming your way.

I belong, irrevocably, to that texture of experience which has made me
what I'm. And How shall I deny one atom of stress that has shaped me?
The thumb of the potter presses hard upon mortal clay. Is that grim
pressure good? Is it bad? I can only say, It is. I do not have
separate mind. I'm an entity independent of what seems to be other
beings or life. I'm trying to live hard with the law of this
collectivity of "Right or wrong" .
Trying to brush away the dust of my Illusions.

Hi, my full name is Hemanth Padmanabhan. I live in, oh
never mind. I live in the relative anonymity of the internet. The
beauty of cyberspace! I am just another 20 year old. No claims to
fame. But I (our little group) believe we can contribute to the vast
diversity of the universe by adding some of our own stuff to it. Hope
you like it. I love music, specifically Rock and Metal, and also some
Indian Carnatic classical. Metallica and Iron Maiden are my favorites.
I'll probably be very closely involved in keeping the music section of
this site up to date. My other passion is automobiles. I just love
cars and bikes, my special favorites being the Mitsubishi Lancer and
American muscle cars like the Mustang and Viper. Watch out for regular
updates in the automobile section and also the aviation pages. The
books I've read and re-read are Forsyth's 'The Day of the Jackal',
'The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy', 'Zen and the art of Motorcycle
Maintenance' , most of Stephen King, and all of Forsyth. I am also
keen on international politics and sometimes I also write poetry.
Sometimes I like to read philosophy and dabble with religion, but
that's very little. I think a better insight into my world will be
obtained if you browse these pages here rather than in a description
of me, which is, maybe, blatantly egoistic.
